
Ariana Grande-Butera is an American performer, songwriter and actress. Her distinctive use of the whistle register and four-octave vocal range are both well-known. After watching YouTube videos of Grande singing, Republic Records signed Grande to their label in 2011. The US Billboard 200 topped Grande's 1950s-inspired pop and R&B debut album, [2 Yours Truly (2013). The single "The Way" has risen to the top ten on the US Billboard Hot 100.
