Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, an American stage and screen actor and producer. Her most well-known work is as an actress in films for her performances on the films Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies at Brown University, and a Master in Fine Arts in Acting at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actor and producer. She is actively involved in theater, film, as well as television. She began her career as an actor in theater and then went on to make appearances in numerous TV series, mainstream and independent films. The actress was famous for her role as Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) as well as on BET's huge The Book of Negroes. Both series received major praise from critics, and she also received a number of prizes. Her professional acting debut with the character Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. She has performed on Broadway in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis.
