Awkwafina

Awkwafina was an American singer and actress started with humorous raps that addressed sexual identities, racial identity and gender. Before expanding into Hollywood, she released an album of rap songs. The actress was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean parents who immigrated to Forest Hills Queens her first taste of musician life came via the trumpet. Then, she started the classical and hip-hop genres. In college she studied Women's Studies and Journalism.
